On 2 August 2027 the Moon’s shadow sweeps across Spain, North Africa, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Somalia, with totality lasting over six minutes near Luxor in Egypt. Zimbabwe is outside even the partial shadow, so nothing will be visible here. Space agencies and observatories usually stream total eclipses live.

Tips for watching

Watch a live stream from NASA or an observatory in the eclipse path.

Times are Central Africa Time, worked out for Harare; other towns in Zimbabwe differ by a few minutes. Source: NASA Science: future eclipses.
